Celebrating Future Hospitality Leaders: 

Scholarship Luncheon

Join us for our annual Scholarship Luncheon on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, as we celebrate and honor the achievements of Minnesota students actively pursuing careers in the hospitality industry. This event recognizes the dedication and hard work of students committed to building a future in hospitality, while providing support as they take the next steps in their educational journeys.

Since 2006, the Hospitality Minnesota Education Foundation has awarded nearly $1 MILLION in scholarships to over 370 MN students pursuing their education in foodservice and hospitality programs. Plus, new this year we are thrilled to offer Sue Zelickson Scholarships. These scholarships are available for women pursuing higher education hospitality, culinary, foodservice, food science, or other food-related degrees.

In addition, the Luncheon will recognize the following recipients:

• 2025 ProStart Teacher of the Year
• 2025 Hospitality & Tourism Management Teacher of the Year
• 2025 ProStart Mentor of the Year

In celebration of Cyndi Keesee's retirement, we will also recognize her for her years of service as the Hospitality Minnesota Education Foundation’s ProStart Coordinator.
