AHLA is hosting a webinar on July 16 at 3:00 pm EST with AHLA Allied+ member Littler Mendelson to discuss two new federal regulations and their impact on the hotel industry:

• The Department of Labor’s Independent Contractor rule, which changes the way workers are classified as independent contractors or employees.
• The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Worker Walkaround rule, which authorizes non-employee, third-party representatives to accompany an OSHA inspector during a facility inspection.

Both rules are currently in effect, and both are likely to impact hoteliers’ bottom lines.
