Join us on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the St. Paul RiverCentre for the Minnesota ProStart Invitational! 

Watch as top high school culinary and hospitality students showcase their skills in both live cooking challenges and restaurant management competitions. This exciting event highlights the culinary creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of students enrolled in Minnesota’s ProStart program.

The Minnesota ProStart Invitational includes two competition divisions:

  • Culinary: Teams have one hour to prepare a three-course meal, judged on skills like knife work, teamwork, sanitation, presentation, and taste.
  • Management: Teams create a business proposal for a new restaurant, judged on concept, menu, operations, marketing, and critical thinking.

The winning teams from each division will represent Minnesota at the National ProStart Invitational in Baltimore, MD, on April 24 -26, 2026.
