Gunflint Lodge & Outfitters is a classic Northwoods lakeside resort with cabins nestled into the Boreal forest on the south shore of Gunflint Lake, between the Canadian border and Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

 Drive the legendary Gunflint Trail from Grand Marais, on the North Shore of Lake Superior, to Gunflint Lodge. The ride is laced with ancient White Pines, keep your eyes open for moose, wolves, Canadian lynx, and black bears. 

Once you’re here, relax in front of your fireplace, have a cocktail in the lodge, and experience the Milky Way in the world’s largest Dark Skies Sanctuary. We offer all-inclusive resort options to feed your body with hand-crafted Northwoods cuisine and your sense of adventure with the many activities offered.
