Our membership is comprised of motion picture exhibitors, theatre owners, and operators with facilities located in those five states. Our membership includes large, regional, and independent theatre owners. Our membership is open to all exhibitors.
our purpose
- Monitor legislation and work with lobbyists, legislators, and members on issues affecting our industry.
- Coordinate and work with the national association on behalf of our members.
- Provide strong and unified voice on issues affecting our members and the movie exhibition industry.
- Plan and host the North Central Cinema United Convention held annually in April or May yearly.
- Sponsor and promote the NCCU scholarship program which provides post-secondary scholarship grants to employees of our member theatres.
- Provide a regional member newsletter informing our members of events and issues in our industry.
- Provide a North Central Cinema United website to promote our organization, encourage new membership, and provide easy access to information.
