January 2026 STR Report Summary*: 

In January 2026, Minnesota’s occupancy rate landed at 45.8%, 6.6% lower than the overall U.S. occupancy rate of 52.4%, and 4.4% higher than the state's occupancy rate in January 2025. Bloomington reported the highest occupancy rate in the state at 60.7%. Following Bloomington was Rochester, which last month had an occupancy rate of 53.9%.

In January 2026, Minnesota’s statewide RevPAR landed at $57.68, $8.56 higher than January 2025's RevPAR of $49.12. Across the state, January 2026's ADR of $125.84 landed $7.20 higher than January 2025's ADR of $121.15.
