our purpose

• Monitor legislation and work with lobbyists, legislators, and members on issues affecting our industry.
• Coordinate and work with the national association on behalf of our members.
• Provide strong and unified voice on issues affecting our members and the movie exhibition industry.
• Plan and host the North Central Cinema United Convention held annually in April or May yearly.
• Sponsor and promote the NCCU scholarship program which provides post-secondary scholarship grants to employees of our member theatres.
• Provide a regional member newsletter informing our members of events and issues in our industry.
• Provide a North Central Cinema United website to promote our organization, encourage new membership, and provide easy access to information.
