Emmy-Winning Host Stephanie Hansen to Emcee Hospitality Minnesota Education Foundation’s Stars of the Future

Minneapolis, MN, October 23, 2026 – The Hospitality Minnesota Education Foundation is excited to announce that five-time regional Emmy Award-winning television host, broadcaster, and author Stephanie Hansen will emcee this year’s Stars of the Future fundraiser. The event will take place on Thursday, November 19, at the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot.

Hansen, who grew up in the Twin Cities, knows firsthand where a start in hospitality can lead. One of her first jobs in the food world was slinging drinks at the Heartthrob Café in downtown St. Paul. After fifteen years in advertising sales and marketing, she founded the online printing and marketing company Printz.com in 2005, won the Women Business Owner of the Year Award, and later sold the business before turning her love of food into a career in broadcasting.

Today, Hansen hosts “Taste Buds With Stephanie,” which airs Saturday mornings on FOX 9 and in syndication on 89 TV stations across the country. She also co-hosts “The Weekly Dish” radio show and podcast on myTalk 107.1 with Mpls.St.Paul Magazine food editor Stephanie March, cooks and shares recipes weekly on “The Jason Show” on FOX 9, and is the author of the “True North Cabin Cookbook” Vol. 1 and 2.
